Why you should buy the Tozo T6 Earbuds?

Tozo T6 Earbuds

Features and price. Tozo manages to cram a lot of tech into these earbuds, and they just work. The Might not have the name brand recognition, but they put many more expensive earbuds to shame.

Best Features:

  • They are IPX8 water-resistant, something that is rarely seen under $100.

  • Battery life is decent, with up to 6 hours of playback time on a single charge and room for 30 hours of total playback from the carry case.

  • They have built-in wireless charging (charging pad sold separately, we recommend this from Anker.)

  • Touch controls are built-in to allow you to take charge of your music.

  • USB-C and Bluetooth 5.0 mean inclusion means they are up to date with the latest tech this year.

The T6 carry Case is Tiny but Powerful

Tozo T6 with Wireless Charging

The T6 comes in a tiny box about half the size of most other true wireless earbud boxes. The size is great for travel, as it’s easy to carry and store. It also means that people with small hands can easily hold and use earbuds. If you travel often or just like small things, this might be one of your favorite features of the Tozo T6.

Earphones are placed inside when not in use which starts them charging if the battery is anything less than 100%. On the front of the case are indicator lights showing you how much battery is left in the base unit. This is done by a 4-light system, each symbolizing 25% of the charge left.

Somehow despite the small size, Tozo managed to equip the T6 with wireless charging. I find this so convenient as I just walk in and place them on a charging mat. It saves me looking for the cables, and somehow I find that I never run out of charge because of this.

Speaking of charging, we are also given fast charge functionality so that if you run out of juice, you can plug in the earphones via USB-C and be fully ready to go in just 55 minutes. Surprisingly they even managed to put a quick charge on the wireless system, and we were getting a full battery at 2 hours using the wireless charger.

Touch Controls

Many wireless earbuds now have this feature, and the implementation here works flawlessly. For example, a single tap on the left or right earbud will play or pause your music. Double tapping on the left or right earbud allows you to skip forward and back between tracks. Three taps will enable Siri or Google Voice Assistant if both are tapped at once.

That’s right; the Tozo T6 even has voice assistant technology. At this point, I’m getting pretty awestruck, and I keep looking back to ensure I read the price correctly. How does any company put this much tech into a single product and not manage to mess it up the way big-name brands, with all their resources, seem to do?

The Tozo T6 is comfortable - If your ears fit

By this, I mean you need to have medium to large-sized ears. Unfortunately, yet again people with small ears will be disappointed as with the Tozo T6, you will find the protruding a fair bit from your ear. Our small ear testers also complained that they didn’t feel as secure as the JBL Tune 230 we tested them against.

Medium and large ear people should find them comfortable due to the ergonomically friendly designs. There are no sharp edges or rough spots. In fact, the earphones were so smooth we found them a little tricky to grip when putting them in our ears.

The included ear tips come in three different sizes; I’m guessing most people will use the medium. It has a decent textured grippy surface and combined with a medium depth of insertion, I found getting a good seal easy.

Once inserted, the earphones block out a lot of noise, but they do not have noise cancelation technology.

The Bass is Big

Overall audio quality is very good, but they definitely lean toward the bassy end of things. Thankfully, two things that can make an earphone sound bad, bass bleed and distortion, were not present when listening. This was noted even past 80%, where they remained composed yet aggressive.

The Tozo T6 isn’t meant to compete with audiophile earphones, and they definitely don’t. In fact, what they do is provide an excellent balance to the overall sound displaying smooth highs and mids combined with an elevated bass. It makes games, movies, and music sound good, but it will not blow you away with detail if you want minute obsessive detail, I’m afraid you will be looking to spend well over excess of $100 at this stage.

No the T6 by Tozo just hits right, the voices sound clear and the bass sounds big so it’s definitely something I can recommend for fans of pop, hip-hop, and EDM.

Audio latency - how far does audio lag behind the video?

Another issue that arises with true wireless earbuds is audio latency -- how far audio lags behind the video. This is measured in milliseconds, and while it's barely noticeable while watching YouTube videos on my MacBook Pro, it can be a severe problem for gamers. Games depend on real-time spatial audio, so if you play Apex or PubG, you will want your audio to keep up with what is happening on screen.

The Tozo T6 doesn't suffer from latency issues due to the inclusion of the latest Bluetooth 5.3 standard. I played several rounds of PUBG with the T6 and was pleasantly surprised by how little lag there was between my controller movements and what happened on screen. That being said, I've been using wired headphones for gaming since high school, so I'm used to having no problems as far as latency goes (and I probably don't have very high standards).

We sometimes had issues with random disconnections

However, we sometimes had issues getting them to connect properly -- they would randomly disconnect because they weren't paired correctly. This happened only once or twice during testing.

The last time we paired was a week ago, and since going back through the pairing process from scratch, we haven’t encountered any more issues.

Overall, these are some of our favorite wireless earbuds at this price point!

There are so many reasons to like the Tozo T6, and almost nothing to hate.

  • They have good battery life. We've been able to get them to last the entire day on one charge, which is incredible considering their size and price.

  • They're comfortable to wear. They don't hurt your ears after wearing them for an extended period of time like some other wireless headphones can do (we're looking at you, Apple AirPods).

  • Their sound quality is excellent compared to other in-ear wireless headphones in this range, but it's not as good as the more expensive models from Bose or Sony (which cost several times more than Tozo T6).

  • Their microphone performs well enough for calls, and voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant work ok during calls, too (though not as well as higher-end models).

Conclusion

The Tozo T6 earbuds are some of the best earbuds you can buy for under $50. They have a great design, with high-quality sound and battery life. We also love how portable they are -- their charging case is thin enough that it fits in my pocket easily, and I hardly notice it when it's clipped on my waistband.

The only major downside here is that they don't have buttons on either side of each bud; instead, you'll have to rely on touch controls or voice commands if you want to change something while listening to music. Otherwise, these are excellent true wireless earbuds with many features!

Stozz Audio

Stozz audio was started over a decade ago with the goal of informing people about new Audio products. We wanted to create a site with unbiased and informed reviews that didn’t confuse people with audiophile terminology. Most people just want good-sounding speakers and headphones, they don’t have time to learn the lingo so we keep things simple.

Over the past few years, we have built up a team of writers that have experience in the sales, distribution, and installation of many high-end audio products. This allows us to contrast and compare our reviews and give buyers a better understanding of what’s available on the market.
